There is an undeniable gap between Black people in philanthropy and local resources. Until recently, there has been a lack of groups or services to cater to or offer support for Bay Area-based Black philanthropists.

We created Black Funders Network to provide a forum for our members to organize and align their philanthropic efforts and successfully secure financial and technical support to accomplish local missions that directly benefit Black people in Bay Area Black communities.

Create safe, supportive, Black positive,

(Re) energizing spaces.

Serve as strong advocates in philanthropy for

Black communities.

Support Black professional talent to enter and advance in the field of philanthropy.

Align Black funders and accomplices to maximize resource support of Black Led Organizations (BLOs)
