Friday, November 14th, 2025, was a night to remember– the Black Funders Network of the Bay Area (BFN) came together to celebrate the organization’s 5th Anniversary. We are grateful for the opportunity to come together and celebrate BFN’s impact and community.

Featured Conversation: "Legacy and Power"
A highlight of the evening was the "Legacy and Power" conversation between Fred Blackwell and Angela Glover Blackwell, moderated by BFN's Managing Director, Chantel Walker. Their insights illuminated the deep roots of Black philanthropy, affirming how Black communities have historically harnessed resilience, creativity, and boldness in action as well as boundary-spanning partnerships to change.
